I’ve already written about how the government under this current administration feels that the protests and attacks on the United States embassies in the Middle-East right now have nothing to do with American policy. What’s curious is that United States Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice is now parroting the administration’s message. As she explains in the video below, the Middle-East hates us because of this video, and this video alone.

It’s worth noting this image is not from anything to do with the Middle-East riots now (at least not that I know of), but I still liked it.
Greg Gutfeld is known on Fox News as the diminutive quick witted host of Red Eye and a cohost of The Five. Each episode Gutfeld has a segment where he talks about something bugging him, and on September 14th he highlighted the cultural difference between our American western culture, and how Middle-Eastern Islamic culture respond to things that anger them. His solution is sarcastic, of course, but it also makes a point. Is outrage and violence the only language that’s understood? Would there be calls to listen to us and be understanding if America responded to Middle-Eastern beheadings the same way they respond to a video?
Nobody likes the anti-Islamic movie Innocence of Muslims. If you can even call it a movie. The current incarnation of it is a 15 minute trailer on Youtube that I’m pretty certain I could produce better.
Innocence of Muslims, in whatever form it exists, was released months ago. The idea that it actually is responsible for any of the mobbing and rioting is silly, since its quite clear that this was a protest organized on 9/11. Whoever started the protest needed something to rally the mobs with, and the threat of a movie that insults the Prophet Muhammed was all that was needed to anger the poor, uneducated Egyptian mobs that now demand its “banning”. A movie they have never seen, have no opportunity to ever see, and are rioting over only on hearsay. In fact, the reason for the protests is general anti-Americanism. Some random video just happens to be a convienent excuse to make them look justified. So they “demand” a banning of the movie.
