Vice Presidential Debate: A Laughing Matter
The Vice President constantly talked over his challenger in this debate, was allowed to by the moderator, constantly complained over not having enough time, and then ended up talking a minute longer than Ryan. All of this while laughing downright maniacally over serious issues like foreign policy, economy, and jobs, only sobering to a softer … clearly fake sympathetic tone when speaking on abortion and religion, issues the Catholic church has sued the Obama administration over (despite the fact that Biden seems to think he’s perfectly in line with them.) In fact, Biden was quite liberal in the facts he invented during the evening. Syria is NOT five times bigger than Libya, job growth has NOT gotten better (and the only reason it remotely looked that way was part time jobs), the Libyan embassy DID in fact request additional security, and he was assisted by the moderator constantly jabbing his challenger for more details, while Biden got to say ridiculous things like unemployment NOT being terrible all across the country.
